Recent Events

Pack Overnight on the USS Salem!

Ships Ahoy! 30 cubs and parents spent a recent Saturday afternoon through Sun morning aboard the USS Salem in Quincy, MA. They explored the ship, learned about knot tying, fingerprinting, the command Center, and much, much more! They slept in REAL Navy bunks and ate in the mess hall and saw a tanker get maneuvered by tug boats. The weekend ended with a cruise on the Boston Harbor! To see mores pics, download the zip file

Pack outing to Wheelabrator

In the Litter to Glitter theme for March, many of our Cubs went on a tour of the Wheelabrator plant in North Andover, where they turn trash into a clean source of electricity. A highlight of the tour was "the claw"

Pinewood Derby

Pinewood Derby 2008 was another great night of racing! Read all the reports here.

Scouting for Food

We collected a large table of food for North Reading's food pantry! They were hugely appreciative!

Fall Camping!!

We had a great time camping Oct 13 & 14 with Cub Scout Pack 729 and Boy Scout Troop 750 at Stearn's Pond in Harold Parker State Forest. The weather was great, the scenery beautiful, and everyone had a great time. There was whittling, crafts (seen any of our ghosts?), fishing, and hiking. The campfire was crowded but all the skits and songs were well done.

September Pack Outing

We had a great time at MBTA maintenance garage in Medford on Saturday, Sept 29. We saw trains in various states of repair, had a close-up look at the wheel carriage, saw the new painting facility and even got to blow the horn and make announcements! And take a look at the cool hats they gave us! Thanks for organizing Mr. K!

Spinners Overnight

On August 25, we went on an overnight outing to see the Lowell Spinners play at LeLacheur Park.

Sudden Pond Camping - June 2007!

What agreat time we had! Perfect weather! Good crowd! Good fun! Woohoo!
